A training program of three classes which will cover the essential components to help an individual decrease their dysfunctional and harmful reactions to life's daily stress. Participants will learn of the mind-body connection and will gain confidence in responding with appropriate interventions when levels of stress are high.  

Various modalities will be experienced and practiced: 
• mindfulness training;
• guided imagery [meditation];
• breath training; 
• full body relaxation response; and
• simple, easy body movements. 

The physical effects will be:
• reduced heart and respiration rate,
• slower brain-wave patterns,
• greater efficiency within all body functions as well as
• greater peace of mind. 

All this adds up to greater energy, stamina and vitality.  

This workshop is for persons of all ages and abilities who are motivated to deal with their worry and stress in a healthy and happy way.

The workshop trainer is Daline Dudley who has facilitated self-help workshops and support groups for over 40 years. In Connecticut she maintained a private practice in Psychotherapy and Social Work as well as Human Relations consulting to the business community. She has Masters Degrees in Education as well as Social Work. She is also certified as a Qigong Instructor.
